Working with plastic is as much art as science. These boards have issues which were not revealed until the finishing process. Rather than melt them down again, we are giving people the opportunity to get themselves a board on a budget! Most boards will still have 1 side that remains easy to clean and within our standards, however the second side has larger issues than we would like. Pricing according to defect size. Our boards are made 100% from recycled whitewater kayaks! They measure approx. 14.5" x 9.5" and range in thickness from 1/2" to 1". They are HANDMADE and RECYCLED! That means they all have minor artifacts of the cooling process that you wouldn't find on something you buy from a store, but none should interfere with use or cleaning.

Kayaks are made of HDPE plastic. They are power washed and all adhesives are removed before board creation. We recommend hand washing to prevent damage.
